# Submitting a Ticket In-App

> Submit a support ticket without leaving CallVault — with an automatic screenshot and console context attached.

You don't need to leave CallVault or switch to email to get help. The **Support** menu in the sidebar lets you submit a ticket directly, with a screenshot of what you were looking at attached automatically.

## Submitting a ticket

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Support menu">
    Click **Support** in the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Submit a Ticket">
    CallVault captures a screenshot of your current view in the background — you don't need to wait for it before the ticket dialog opens.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe what happened">
    Choose a type — **Bug**, **Feature Request**, or **Improvement** — and describe what you were trying to do and what happened.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review or adjust the screenshot">
    The auto-captured screenshot appears in the dialog. Use the camera icon to retake it, or the image icon to attach additional screenshots (up to 5 total) — you can also paste an image directly into the message box.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send">
    Click **Send ticket**. If you're not logged in with an email CallVault recognizes, you'll be asked for a reply email first.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What gets sent with your ticket

* **Your message** and selected ticket type
* **Screenshot(s)** — the auto-captured problem view, plus any you add manually
* **Console context** — a snapshot of recent browser console activity, to help support diagnose errors without back-and-forth
* **Your organization and workspace** — so support can see the same setup you're seeing

The auto-captured screenshot excludes the support popover and any open dialogs, so it reflects the actual page you were viewing, not the support UI itself.

## Where to see ticket updates

Once submitted, ticket status updates (received, in progress, resolved, or escalated) appear in the **Notifications** bell in the sidebar. Click a notification to view the full ticket update.
