Folders & Tags

Keep your transcript library organized with custom folders and tags. Folders give you a hierarchical structure, while tags let you categorize across folders.

Folders

Folders work like you’d expect—containers for grouping related calls.

Creating a Folder

  1. In the Transcripts page, look at the left sidebar
  2. Click the + button or New Folder
  3. Enter a folder name
  4. Optionally choose an emoji icon
  5. Optionally select a color
  6. Click Create

Folder Features

Each folder has:
  • Name - How it appears in the sidebar
  • Icon - An emoji for quick recognition
  • Color - Visual distinction in the sidebar
  • Count - Shows how many calls are inside

Moving Calls to Folders

Drag and Drop:
  • Grab a call from the table
  • Drop it onto a folder in the sidebar
Using the Menu:
  • Click the call’s menu (three dots)
  • Select Move to Folder
  • Choose the destination
Bulk Move:
  • Select multiple calls with checkboxes
  • Click Move to Folder in the toolbar
  • Choose the destination

Managing Folders

Edit a folder:
  1. Hover over the folder in the sidebar
  2. Click the edit icon (or right-click)
  3. Change name, icon, or color
  4. Save
Delete a folder:
  1. Right-click the folder (or use the menu)
  2. Select Delete
  3. Confirm
Deleting a folder removes the organization but doesn’t delete the calls. They become uncategorized.

Tags

Tags are labels you apply to calls for flexible categorization.

Why Use Tags?

Tags work across folders. A call can be:
  • In the “Acme Corp” folder
  • Tagged as “demo” and “qualified”
This lets you filter by tag regardless of folder structure.

Adding Tags

To a single call:
  1. Open the call detail
  2. Find the tags area
  3. Click Add Tag
  4. Type a tag name or select existing
  5. Press Enter
To multiple calls:
  1. Select calls with checkboxes
  2. Click Add Tags in the toolbar
  3. Choose or create tags

Tag Colors

Tags can have colors for visual distinction:
  1. When creating or editing a tag
  2. Select a color from the palette
  3. The tag displays in that color everywhere

Filtering by Tag

  1. In the Transcripts view
  2. Use the filter/search area
  3. Select tags to show only calls with those tags

By Client

Create folders for each client or account:
📁 Acme Corp
📁 Beta Industries
📁 Gamma Solutions
Use tags for call types: demo, support, renewal

By Stage

Create folders for your sales pipeline:
📁 Discovery
📁 Demo
📁 Negotiation
📁 Closed
Use tags for outcomes: won, lost, pending

By Time Period

Create folders for time-based organization:
📁 2024 Q1
📁 2024 Q2
📁 2024 Q3
Use tags for categories: sales, coaching, internal

Tips

  1. Start simple - You can always add more folders later
  2. Use tags liberally - They’re cheap and flexible
  3. Color code - Makes scanning the sidebar faster
  4. Emojis help - Visual icons speed up recognition
  5. Combine with search - Folders + search = powerful filtering
