Fathom is an AI meeting notetaker that records and transcribes your calls. When you connect Fathom to CallVault, your recordings sync automatically — no manual uploads needed.

Connecting Fathom

1

Open integrations settings

In CallVault, go to Settings → Integrations.
2

Click Connect next to Fathom

You’ll be redirected to Fathom to authorize the connection.
3

Sign in to Fathom and authorize

Log in with your Fathom credentials and grant CallVault permission to access your recordings.
4

Choose your import settings

Decide whether to import your existing Fathom call library or only sync new calls going forward.
5

Done — calls start syncing

CallVault will import your Fathom calls. Depending on your library size, the initial import may take a few minutes.

What syncs automatically

Once connected, the following data flows from Fathom into CallVault for each meeting:
  • Recording — audio/video of the meeting
  • Transcript — Fathom’s transcript is imported (CallVault may re-transcribe for consistency)
  • Meeting title — used as the call name in CallVault
  • Date and duration
  • Participants — attendee names and emails when available

Where synced calls land

New calls from Fathom land in your My Calls workspace by default. Use Routing Rules to automatically send calls to specific workspaces or folders based on meeting title, participants, or duration.

Managing the connection

To view the status of your Fathom integration or disconnect it:
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Fathom
  2. You’ll see the connection status and last sync time
  3. Click Disconnect to remove the integration
Disconnecting stops future syncs but does not delete calls that have already been imported.

Troubleshooting

The initial import can take a few minutes for large libraries. Check Settings → Integrations → Fathom for the sync status. If the import shows as complete but calls are missing, try disconnecting and reconnecting.
Make sure the Fathom integration is still connected — check Settings → Integrations. If your Fathom password changed recently, you may need to reconnect.
This can happen if a call was imported via Fathom and also uploaded manually. Delete the duplicate call from the call’s menu.
Set up a Routing Rule with a condition matching your meeting titles and an action to assign the target workspace and folder.
