Fireflies doesn’t support OAuth — the connection uses an API key plus a webhook, not a one-click sign-in like Fathom or Zoom.
Connecting Fireflies
1
Get your Fireflies API key
In Fireflies, go to your account integrations page and generate an API key.
2
Open integrations settings in CallVault
Go to Settings → Integrations → Fireflies.
3
Paste your API key
Enter the Fireflies API key and save.
4
Copy the webhook URL and signing secret
CallVault generates a webhook URL and signing secret. Copy both into Fireflies’ webhook settings so Fireflies can notify CallVault when a meeting is transcribed.
5
Send a test event from Fireflies
In Fireflies, trigger a test webhook delivery. CallVault confirms the signed request and marks the webhook as verified.
What syncs
Once connected, CallVault searches Fireflies for meetings by date range and imports the ones you select (or all of them, depending on how you choose to sync). For each imported meeting:- Transcript — the Fireflies transcript
- Meeting title
- Date and duration
- Attendees — from Fireflies’ calendar invitee data, when available
meeting.transcribed and meeting.summarized webhook events, once the webhook is verified.
Where synced calls land
New calls from Fireflies land in your My Calls workspace by default. Use Routing Rules to automatically route them to specific workspaces or folders.Managing the connection
Go to Settings → Integrations → Fireflies to view connection status, rotate the API key, or disconnect. Disconnecting stops future syncs and webhook deliveries but does not delete calls already imported.Troubleshooting
The webhook won't verify
The webhook won't verify
Double-check that the signing secret in Fireflies exactly matches the one CallVault generated, and that the webhook URL was pasted without extra whitespace. Send another test event from Fireflies after fixing the secret.
New Fireflies meetings aren't showing up
New Fireflies meetings aren't showing up
Confirm the API key hasn’t been revoked in Fireflies, and that the webhook is still marked as verified in Settings → Integrations → Fireflies. If the webhook was recently reconfigured, send a fresh test event.
I don't want new calls in My Calls

Set up a Routing Rule with “Source is Fireflies” as a condition and an action to move matching calls into the right workspace or folder.
